Greenkeeper

**Introduction**:
Saltford Golf Club is a long-established and reputable golf club located between the cities of Bristol and Bath. The golf club is home to an excellent 18 hole parkland course, a 6 hole academy course and a 9 bay floodlit driving range.

**Overview**:

- Have at least 2 years greenkeeping experience.
- Be able to safely operate and maintain a wide range of golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles and tractors.
- Be able to assist the team in presenting the course in the best possible condition all year round.
- Prioritise health and safety when carrying out all work operations.
- Work well individually and as part of a team.
- Have some experience in golf course construction and renovation
- Have excellent punctuality and attendance
- Have a positive attitude towards work
- Be a good communicator with fellow staff, club representatives and golfers
- Have a flexible approach to work hours, including occasional split-shifts and additional weekend
- Have an understanding of the game of golf

**Education**:
Ideally hold or working towards a NVQ Level 2 qualification.

First aid, chainsaw, sprayer and excavator certificates are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £23,800.00-£25,500.00 per year
