Samson Security are currently seeking Control Operators for our prestigious National Command Centre located in Wavertree.

The hours will be 06:00-18:00 every Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be opportunities for overtime, either in the Control Room or working on sites (Security Guarding, or equivalent, licence required)

**Duties**:

- Monitoring Alarm Activations from Client's premises and liasing with mobile response staff/emergency services/keyholders as required
- Communicating with front line staff to ensure all sites and hours are manned.
- Creating reports in response to incidents on client sites
- Creating reports for management to allow for seamless transition of service between days and nights and for important information to be passed to the appropriate person in the business to solve problems and improve systems
- Updating client and staff records when necessary
- Utilising and maintaining Assignment Instructions
- Responding to client enquiries through the helpdesk and updating open/lock times, providing additional staffing etc when required

Required:

- SIA Front-Line licence at a minimum.
- Excellent communication ability both verbal and written.
- IT literacy and capability of utilising software systems.
- 1 year of experience in a previous security role.
- Must be security vetted back 5 years following successful interview.
- Proven problem solving ability.
- Flexibility to work both days and nights.

Desirable:

- Security report writing experience.
- Previous experience working in a company that does keyholding, CCTV monitoring and alarm response.
- Previous experience using alarm monitoring software (e.g. Gemini, Sentinel, Immix)
- SIA CCTV Licence.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
