Are you an administrator and project manager with a medical or biological sciences background?

Starting immediately, you will be joining a dynamic and friendly team as the latest Temporary Research Facilitator. The role will involve a range of tasks including the identifying funding opportunities, pre-award administration maintaining accurate records of research activity and research outcomes, and supporting mid
- and post-award funder reporting.

**Temporary Research Facilitator Responsibilities**
- Supporting the Director and senior academics staff to develop projects to meet funder requirements.
- Supporting grant writing, proof reading and editing of grant submissions including leading on the coordination all non-scientific documentation
- Compiling documentation and reports to meet funders’ mid-term and annual scientific reporting requirements.
- Writing and developing scientific documents including generating text and figures/infographics
- To prepare, edit and proof-read abstracts, presentations, conference materials and other documentation as required.
- Ensuring compliance of grant activity with funder terms and conditions with regard to communications, branding and reporting
- Outcomes and objectives monitoring for a portfolio of projects to support the reporting process including the use of bespoke databases.
- Developing impact narratives around outcomes
- Identification of funding opportunities and determination of eligibility criteria and remit
- Undertaking such other duties as may be required from time to time that are commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the post.

**Temporary Research Facilitator Requirements**
- Hold an MSc, or equivalent qualification, in a biomedical discipline.
- Demonstrable understanding of research/funding in medical sciences
- Excellent interpersonal, team working and networking skills and experience of interfacing confidently, confidentially, and credibly.
- Excellent written and oral communication with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience of generating infographic and/or figures for scientific documents
- Highly computer literate and proficient using MS, databases, and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent organisational skills and proven relevant administrative experience in a similarly varied role
- Experience of working independently, flexibly, and cooperatively, with minimum supervision including working under pressure, prioritising tasks and multiple deadlines

**The Location**

Our client is based in Headington, Oxford (OX3), and whilst there is no onsite parking, there are public transport links nearby to/from the city centre.
