**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a new Greek fine-dining resturant on Poole Quay front. We are committed to providing the highest standard of customer service and any new servers should share this passion. We already have an excellent and close-knit team an so we are looking for someone who works extremely well with others and can maintain our standards.

The ideal applicant will have vast knowledge of our menu and be able to make reccomendations upon request, be polite and friendly and have an excellent eye for detail.

Previous experience is essential.

**Duties**
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety practices and adhere to health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while providing outstanding guest services.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and care.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of food safety and presentation are met.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- A team player with strong communication skills who can help foster a positive atmosphere among staff and guests alike.
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and co-workers.
- Wine knowledge desired but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £9.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
