This is a permanent, full time position based at our facility in Crumlin.**

**Role Overview**

As a Production and Process Engineer, you will be responsible for maintenance planning and engineering continuous improvement projects for production equipment at the BBI Group.

**Role Requirements**

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- To be responsible for both mechanical and electrical engineering maintenance planning and improvement projects for all production equipment.
- Lead the transition of all planned maintenance activities from equipment procedures to CMMS
- Prepare and consistently evaluate planned maintenance and condition monitoring activities of production equipment within the CMMS.
- Report to Operations staff on status of machine breakdowns and ongoing improvement projects.
- Support the delivery of automation and new equipment projects by developing value added maintenance plans and training modules for CMMS.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machine and resource efficiencies whilst considering the impact on other departments. Promoting a continuous improvement culture within the department
- Work in conjunction with Operations staff on daily operational engineering related issues and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage sub-contractors as required.
- Lead a review of current equipment and production process across the business, identify & implement creative ways to reduce transport, waste, and cost by streamlining processes and systems
- Responsible for developing equipment reliability and performance metrics to reduce scrap and improve equipment availability metrics.
- Responsible for writing and evaluating engineering procedures and training modules for existing and new equipment.
- To ensure accurate and timely information collection and transfer in respect of resource allocation to client work via the agreed systems.
- To devise, review, implement and manage systems within the group, including communication and information management.
- To manage specific projects as and when required within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities and responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintaining the Engineering departments KPI, Objectives pf direct reports
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as required.
