We are seeking a motivated receptionist and switchboard operator who prides themselves in professionalism and high quality service to join our team to provide a reception and telephone service for our client based at Reckitt Hull.
**THE ROLE**
This role will operate on a rota, bi weekly rotating between disciplines.
**Reception**
- To perform tasks to prescribed methods and timings
- To be responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, employees and contractors making a good first impression
- To book and manage taxi bookings for client & visitors
- To be knowledgeable of client site policies and procedures
- To be flexible and responsive to changing daily priorities
- To provide a smart appearance, including high standards of personal hygiene and cordial behaviour towards users. Full uniform to be worn
- Ensure consumables for the reception are well stocked and presentable
- Check all equipment is up and running for the commencement of the shift
- Responsible for ensuring all visitors passes are active for the commencement of the shift, ensuring deactivation at end of day
- Responsible for contacting security to deactivate any visitors passes not handed in by the end of the shift
- Carry out daily guest WIFI passcode distribution and checks
**Switchboard**
- To answer and forward telephone calls for the client’s national switchboard service to the requested answer level and the correct receiver
- To ensure all calls are answered as per prescribed method, in a professional and controlled manner
- To check all telephone equipment before use and report defects to manager
**JOB DETAILS**
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 12:00 - 17:00, flexibility in hours may be required
Hourly rate: £10.90
Location: Reckitt Hull, HU8 7DS
