Job Title: Barista - Coffee Shop and Patiserrie

Location: Deansgate, Manchester

Description:
Join our dynamic team at our coffee shop nestled in the vibrant heart of Chorlton village. We are seeking a skilled Barista to craft exquisite artisan coffee and serve a delectable array of patisseries, savouries, baked goods, waffles and toasted sandwiches. Located on bustling Beech Road, our venue promises a fast-paced environment with ample opportunities to showcase your passion for coffee and customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot drinks, with a focus on artisanal coffee brewed to perfection using our brand new coffee machine and Allpress coffee beans.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality and consistency in beverage and food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and dining area.
- Assist in restocking inventory and managing supplies to meet customer demand.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards and contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced coffee shop environment.
- Expertise in crafting various coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks.
- Knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasting techniques, and brewing methods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
