Maintenance Supervisor

Chesterfield, Derbyshire

8 Hour Shifts (Days Only)

£38,000 - £43,000 plus Benefits

Rischer and Butler are currently recruiting on behalf of a client, who has grown substantially within the past few years, and is now looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor who is self-motivated and very well organised. The main responsibilities of the role within this facility will be to work alongside the management team, whilst looking to improve efficiencies as well as supporting the maintenance team and all departments.

This role will be 60% hands on, so this position will suit someone who has strong leadership skills, takes pride in their work and likes to ensure quality of the product.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing and providing leadership to the maintenance team alongside completing maintenance tasks to a high standard
- Developing staff by introducing training and completing written and verbal performance reviews
- Ensure that all breakdowns are actioned swiftly and recorded
- Carry out preventative maintenance as required by PPM schedules
- Responsible for ensuring operational KPI targets are achieved
- Ensure policies and procedures are strictly adhered to by all members of staff
- Project work and providing technical support when required
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, overtime and holidays, initiating disciplinary action when required
- Responsible for enforcing a high level of Health and Safety and ensuring it is upheld by all members of staff across the facility

**Experience**:

- Apprenticeship trained (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Strong communication skills and proven track record of managing and motivating a maintenance team
- Self-driven and determined to succeed in a fast pace environment
- Professional approach to work
- Team player with strong ICT skills
- Knowledge of working in a time critical environment is preferred
- Excellent problem solving skills with a good understanding of maintenance systems

**Salary**: £41,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
