DCG Logistics UK Ltd is an international freight forwarder with depots in Chelmsford, Coventry, Dartford, and Witham. We are a fast-growing company in the freight forwarding industry. With our global network, we manage international and domestics shipments.

DCG Logistics UK Ltd are looking for a Fixed Term Contract Flexi/Bendi Driver to work in our Warehouse department in Crayford. You will work Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 08:30am -17:30pm each day. This role involves operating a Flexi truck, handling goods, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. The site is easily accessible via public transport, with a bus route nearby and a short 5-minute walk from Crayford train station. There will be opportunities to progress from a Fixed Term Contract to Full Time for those who demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a Flexi truck (forklift) for unloading, loading, shelving, and retrieving goods
- Pick, pack, and label goods to fulfil e-commerce and retail orders (cosmetics contract)
- Relocate goods within the warehouse and organize materials on racks and shelves
- Coordinate truck and container deliveries
- Assist with daily and monthly stock takes
- Perform routine forklift maintenance (e.g., charging, adding water) and report issues to the Site Manager
- Secure shutters and gates before leaving when required
- Handle special tasks such as sorting damaged stock and addressing specific client requests

**Requirements**:

- Valid Flexi truck (forklift) license is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong team player
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 30kg and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Awareness and adherence to safety protocols in the warehouse
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Forklift driving: 1 year (preferred)
