- We are looking for an organised and professional PA with great communication skills to support our Director of Operations._

The Director of Operations oversees the running of the venue on a day to basis, as well as the growing client portfolio and the delivery of the Royal Highland Show. This role will be dedicated to carrying out administrative support and project assistance to the Director of Operations. This role will form a key part of the team delivering a diverse and exciting portfolio of events at the RHC, as well as supporting the planning team for the Royal Highland Show.

**The Royal Highland Centre**

The RHC is Scotland’s largest events venue and welcomes over 1 million visitors a year to over 200 events including music events, car/track events and consumer lifestyle events across its 280-acre site.

Our flagship event is the Royal Highland Show in June, which showcases the very best in food, farming and rural life, attracting over 195,000 visitors annually. With a continued programme of investment and a new and exciting client portfolio, the RHC is fast becoming one of Scotland’s busiest event campuses.

**Main Duties include**:

- managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments
- booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- organising the attendance of events and conferences
- collating and coordinating important tasks and deadlines
- typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations, minutes and correspondence
- managing databases and filing systems
- implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
- liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
- collating and filing expenses

**Key Skills**:

- Professional and confident approach and ability to work supportively and collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload taking into account time constraints and pressures
- Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party to confidential information

- Full UK driving licence is essential
