Payroll Consultant

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be engaged by a rapidly expanding global organisation based in Renfrew to recruit a Payroll Consultant, on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be responsible for managing the transfer of knowledge from the serviceprovider covering the processes, the controls and checklists and the payroll calendar.Fantastic benefits are offered in this role, including generous salary, hybrid working, attractive pension and many more.
The main duties:

- Plan and manage activities, objectives, and resourcing to transition services to the Payroll Services team
- Hold workshops with the customer (mainly virtually) to understand and document the processes that will be needed
- Prepare the Payroll Calendar and Processing Checklist to ensure that the appropriate controls are in place
- Prepare Process Maps, Detailed Work Instructions and Customer Information Packs
- Plan and manage payroll reconciliation testing to ensure the accurate transition of services
- Manage the delivery and setup of service tools
- Monitor delivery of the service transition activities
- Track and report progress to key customer and company stakeholders
- Support Sales and Finance Teams to prepare estimates and cost budgets for new customer projects
The main requirements:

- Extensive experience working in Payroll
- Ability to manage Workshops with multiple customer contacts
- Ability to be creative to solve complex problems posed by prospect and customers
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling
- Self-motivated / influencing skills
