**About this job**:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Construction Tutor to deliver high-quality, entry-level training to learners preparing for careers in the construction industry. This includes teaching Level 1 Health & Safety in a Construction Environment, supporting learners to achieve their CSCS Green Card, and embedding green skills and sustainability principles throughout the curriculum. You will play a key role in helping learners develop practical skills, confidence, and employability, with a strong focus on inclusive, learner-centred teaching.

**About you**:
We are looking for a motivated and inspiring individual with a strong background in construction and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. You must understand the challenges faced by learners entering the industry and are committed to creating inclusive, engaging, and practical learning experiences. LBBD needs someone who brings real-world construction experience and can translate it into meaningful learning. You must understand the importance of Health & Safety and be confident delivering Level 1 training and preparing learners for their CSCS card. You must be able to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be disengaged or facing barriers to employment or additional learning needs. You must be flexible, proactive, and collaborative, working well with colleagues, employers, and community partners and committed to continuous improvement, both in your own professional development and in the quality of training delivered..

**About us**:
The role is based at the BRIC Training Centre, LBBD’s dedicated facility for construction skills development. BRIC offers nationally recognised qualifications essential for individuals entering the construction industry, as well as opportunities for experienced workers to upskill or renew certifications. BRIC plays a vital role in creating pathways into employment for local residents through entry-level training, helping to build a skilled workforce equipped for modern construction methods and sustainable development. The centre supports inclusive growth, ensuring that the benefits of regeneration are shared across the community, particularly among those who are furthest from the labour market.

**Field 6**:
To deliver high-quality, inclusive construction training that supports local regeneration by preparing learners with essential skills, qualifications, and pathways into employment. The tutor will contribute to BRIC’s mission of Bridging Regeneration in Construction through education, innovation, and community empowerment. The successful applicant will manage curriculum planning and lesson delivery tailored to entry-level learners, assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback. Inclusive teaching strategies are essential to support diverse learner needs Digital literacy for blended learning and learner engagement The Tutor will mentor and motivate learners from varied backgrounds, working with local employers, stakeholders, and employment brokers.
