**Salary**: £ 9.20 p/h - £13.68 p/h (based on age)

Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park was opened to the public in 1970 and was, at the time, one of Britain’s first safari parks. With over 450,000 visitors a year, we’re now one of the most popular visitor attractions in Scotland and offer a world-class visitor experience that’s exciting, educational and fun.

**Day-to-day duties**

To become a Customer Service Assistant in our Amusements section you’ll need to be friendly, outgoing and confident.We’re looking for people who can relate well to children and be the welcoming face of Blair Drummond Safari Park, while remaining vigilant in order to operate and enforce safety instructions on the various attractions and rides.

Positioned throughout the Safari Park, these duties will include:

- Welcoming visitors and managing queues
- Ensuring visitors comply with safety instructions, height restrictions and wear safety equipment where applicable (e.g. life vests)
- Handling cash and card payments
- Maintaining the park to a high standard
- Occasionally entertaining visitors in animal mascot costumes

**Knowledge, skills and qualifications required**:

- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience working with children or the public
- Experience handling cash and card payments
- Experience of working outdoors in all weathers is an advantage
