MMP Consultancy are working with a public sector organisation to recruit a Voids and Lettings Manager on a temporary to permanent contract. The client is currently operating a hybrid-working model, with flexibility to work from home.
The Voids and Lettings Manager will be responsible for leading and inspiring the voids and lettings service. Leading a team of 8 staff to ensure development of innovative solutions to let homes quickly and reduce voids loss. The Lettings Manager will be providingeffective leadership and support to for staff to deliver an efficient and effective end-to-end voids and lettings process. You will be able to tackle obstacles and make decisions on your own. Minimising voids periods and delivering a customer centric servicewith both a social and commercial focus.

**Responsibilities**:
Deliver a flexible service letting a variety of tenures with customer focus and engagement, an integral aspect of strategic decision making
Responsible for all aspects of the service, including driving the delivery of outstanding performance, developing and coaching teams to develop and maximise their potential to deliver cutting edge service delivery for customers
Continually identify future service challenges and opportunities and develop appropriate strategic approaches
Manage and lead staff to achieve high performance and effective operational delivery, including developing and improving staff capability
Manage a customer focused service and effective use of resources
Ensure councils overall vision, values and ethos are central to the requirements of the service
Responsible for a budget up to £1.5M revenue and capital expenditure
**Experience**:
Significant experience of working in a leadership role within social housing, specifically Lettings and Voids
PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification/training
Strong knowledge of housing law and current housing issues
Demonstratable experience of leading a high-performance team
Significant experience of working within a Housing Association or Local Authority
Strong written and verbal communication skills
