Housekeeping Assistant

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a **Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant** to join them in **Leven Beach Care Home**. Located on the promenade of the seaside town, Leven Beach enjoys picturesque views across the Firth of Forth, adding to the charm of its location.

Our purpose-built care home provides high quality, personalised nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia and its related conditions.

Meallmore have invested heavily in the **latest PPE** and cleaning products to ensure you will be working in a safe environment. And we pledge to focus on your ongoing development, including e-learning, a **12-week induction programme** and ongoing mentorship scheme. We’ll support you to achieve your potential.

**Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include**:

- High standard of cleanliness adhering to additional covid measures for covid19/Omicron
- Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms for the elderly residents of our 68-bed care home also communal areas
- Vacuum rooms and corridors
- Dispose of waste accordingly
- Change and replenish towels and guest amenities in line with company guidelines
- Restock and maintain trolley on daily basis completion of cleaning schedules

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Positive attitude
- A driven individual that can use their own initiative
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
- Flexible and reliable
- Experience working within Care Homes, Hospitality, Schools or Commercial (Desirable but not essential)
