The Urgent Care Pathway addresses the mental health needs of people who are in crisis within the Buckinghamshire area. The pathway consists of crisis teams, a street triage service, an overnight response team and a Liaison psychiatry service.
The purpose of the Urgent Care Pathway is to ensure that every patient who is experiencing a mental health crisis receives an assessment and help from a skilled clinician, no matter what service they present to. Crisis and liaison teams not only provide immediate assessment, but they can offer short term crisis intervention and treatment in the acute hospital and at the patient's home. The Street Triage service provides a service to Thames Valley Police signposting those who present to them in crisis to the most appropriate service.
The role of the performance administer within the pathway is to maintain, develop and facilitate the performance framework of the pathway, ensuring timely and accurate data collection and submission and to assist the team managers in the efficient use of team resources, taking a lead role for providing performance management and administrative support to the Urgent Care Pathway teams
The post holder will have an excellent understanding of data, data analysis and have the ability to utilise and share that data in order to inform practice and service development.
A key responsibility for this post holder is also to implement and monitor systems and process to support the collation of data and to monitor performance of this pathway. This will include working with Oxford Health systems in addition to key stakeholder information systems such as Bucks Health Care Trust.
The Urgent Care Pathway teams are spread out among various sites within Buckinghamshire. Our Performance Administrator is based in the administration hub of the Psychiatric liaison team who are small friendly and fun
Working with busy teams in the Urgent Care Pathway you will meet many new people but will be able to make key relationships with Team Managers who are welcoming and supportive.

Main Tasks
1. To support the service in the development and maintenance of robust performance monitoring and submission of data.
1. Responsible for monitoring performance across the service, reporting and managing opportunities and risks for the team
1. Responsible for the production, analysis and presentation of a range of routine and ad hoc performance and business reports. Ensuring that information provided reflects service practice and is timely, relevant and accurate.
1. To act as a central point and expert for queries and information on all matters relating to data and performance in the service. This requires involvement and participation in internal and external meetings, and internal conferences and workshops.
1. Present information to a variety of audiences, drawing conclusions and implication of results analysis data and leading on some courses of action.
1. To develop relationships across Oxford Health and Bucks Health Care services to ensure the performance information feeds into the directorate performance Framework.
1. Represent services at internal and external performance meetings, and act as the main point of contact for performance enquiries.
1. Support services in communication of its performance to senior managers of the service.
1. To support the team managers in producing finance reports to ensure good use of resources
1. To support the team managers monitoring and evaluating service wide performance activity.
1. To implement and monitor systems and process that will support clinicians to collate necessary data from their practice
1. To produce routine and ad hoc data and performance reports responsible for the analysis, investigation and resolution of anomalies and issues.
1. Responsible for exception reporting and communicating key messages to team managers of risk areas within performance monitoring.
