We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assessor in Plumbing and Domestic Heating to join our team at Hugh Baird College. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and assessment of competence-based training, including group or classroom-based sessions, in the workplace and college environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver and assess competence-based training, including group or classroom-based sessions, in the workplace or college environment
- Set, mark, and assess students’ work, ensuring that learning outcomes have been met and that feedback is both detailed and constructive
- Use technology, including the college’s virtual learning environment, effectively to enable independent learning at any time or place

**Essential Criteria**:

- D32/33 A1 or equivalent
- Level 3 or equivalent Qualification in Plumbing and Gas
- Maths & English Level 2 or equivalent or willing to work towards
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching, assessment and learning on Plumbing and Domestic Heating Apprenticeships
- Possess sufficient breadth and/or depth of specialist knowledge and trade experience of Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- Appropriate knowledge of NVQ Plumbing and Domestic Heating
- Experience in Assessing competency-based learning
