**IT Domain/Solution/Integration Architect - Banking**

We are currently recruiting for a Solutions/Domain Architect to join a multi-year strategic architectural programme for a major investment bank.

**Please note**: This is not a security architecture role. This is a domain/solution/IT integration architecture role that sits within the CISO area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform evaluations of products and solutions, make rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives, and communicate recommendations.
- Understand top level architecture
- Understand different tech & systems
- Understand integration architecture
- Role will be focused on integration architecture due to a fragmented ecosystem within the CISO area.
- Participate in the strategic analysis, planning, and execution of IT-enabled business solutions.
- Lead the execution of duties and participate in an effort to capture and validate an as-is view of capabilities and defined functional baseline.
- Establish a strategic technology roadmap based on mission needs, evolve to-be architecture to meet needs, and review, interpret, and provide input to operational architecture views.
- Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs.

**Skills and experience**:

- Proven track record of several years' experience performing in an IT architecture role preferably in an IT risk / GRC tool context
- Proven track of experience as single solution architect and also in driving integration architecture
- Data Flows, Data Modelling
- Experience with broad technology delivery and with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients
- Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations
- Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems, maintaining and improving legacy systems with complex dependencies
- Knowledge and understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), certification is a plus
- Knowledge of control and risk management industry standards, and leading practices (e.g. COBiT, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, COSO) is a plus
