An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our thriving IAPT Service. We are recruiting a Clinical Lead to help manage and further develop the East Riding Emotional Wellbeing Service.

The Service supports people in the East Riding population aged 16 + for Core IAPT and 18 + for integrated IAPT, providing a range of recovery and work focused IAPT interventions for people with mild to moderately severe common mental health problems. We are also contracted to provide treatment for a wide range of LTC conditions. The service provides a stepped care treatment approach.

**The post holder will**:
Provide clinical Leadership to the staff employed in the service, work closely with the Service Manager on all aspects of service delivery.

Provide senior liaison and consultation with GP's, key stakeholders and referring agents to facilitate user choice and access to appropriate Psychological Therapies.

Actively contribute to clinical audit, research, education and service development.

Be responsible for developing and leading service delivery with a clinical focus (e.g., clinical pathways and enhancing recovery rates.)

Liaise regularly with managers in relation to clinical matters and matters concerning workforce and performance.

Actively contribute to and support the integration of clinical governance in the East Riding IAPT service.

Monitor and appraise staff performance and identify their training needs.

Represent Humber in external business meetings as required.

Provide senior liaison and consultation to the MDT, GP's and referrers, Primary care and Secondary care agencies in order to facilitate seamless access to primary and Secondary Care mental health services.

Provide consultation to and communicate as appropriate with external agencies (including housing, police, local authority, Jobcentre Plus and employers etc).

Manage an allocated caseload and lead in specialist work.

Ensure the implementation of Humber policies and Procedures.
