We are looking for a HSEQ Auditor to join us on a full-time, permanent, working on a 37.5 hours per week basis covering the Southern UK area.
**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,500 per annum, plus a company car allowance. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts,as well as a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
**What you’ll do on a typical day**:
- To be responsible and accountable for the internal EHSQ audit programme, coordinating and conducting audits based around the GXO management systems and externally accredited systems
- Coordinate and conduct due diligence audits on new business wins
- To escalate and report on any non-conformities and exposures to the business and implement and maintain an audit action and remedial actions tracker
- To be responsible for the audit diary, ensuring audit schedules are always up to date and that audits do not fall outside of company policy in terms of timescales and frequency
**What you need to succeed at GXO**:
- Auditing experience and knowledge of management systems e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45000 BRC, Lead Auditor qualification desirable or willing to upskill
- NEBOSH general certificate and Environmental e.g. IEMA qualification desirable
- Possess the interpersonal skills, integrity and commercial awareness to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels
- Able to prioritise your time working in a multi-site environment and can manage/influence colleagues remotely
- As this is a regional role there will be plenty of travel for which you will need a full UK driving license
