**PRIMARY OBJECTIVE**

To provide high quality and effective financial support to the Chief Executive, Treasurer and Board and to be the key point of contact for staff and stakeholders on all financial matters. The role manages all day-to-day financial activities of the charity to ensure compliance with all accounting requirements and to support the effective financial management of Heads Up Leicester.

**WORK TASKS**

1. Manage and process all the charities day to day financial processes following the rules set out in the Financial Regulations of the charity, including invoice issue, recording payments received, reconciliations of financial records to bank statements, making and recording of payments and deposits.

2. Implement all financial policies and processes accurately and in good time. ensuring full compliance with the financial control framework. Preparation and presentation of clear and accessible monthly management accounts to assist charity managers in their oversight and monitoring of the budget.

3. Preparation and presentation of clear and succinct quarterly financial reports for the Finance sub-committee to enable confident financial decision making.

5. Supply robust financial costing and projection information for all contracts and workstream, to enable timely and accurate reporting to the commissioners and funders.

6. Perform month-end control checks and reconciliations, including bank reconciliations for review by the Treasurer.

7. Manage and maintain the charity’s finance records and payroll using Sage, ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date at all times.

8. Lead and manage systems and processes for effective and efficient payroll administration (including PAYE, pension administration and staff expenses).

9. Lead year-end financial procedures including all audit processes in conjunction with and under the supervision of the Treasurer.

10. Update Charity Commission/Companies House records as required.

11. Identify and report any actual or potential financial concerns to the Chief Executive and/or Treasurer.

12. In conjunction with others, review and update financial policies as required

Please note this is a part-time role and salary will be pro rata

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,421.00-£28,770.00 per year
