Finance Manager – North Leicestershire – £40,000 – £45,000 Flexible and Hybrid WorkingI am working with a growing, family-run business in North Leicestershire to recruit a Finance Manager. This is a standalone role, offering full ownership of the finance function within a supportive and flexible working environment.The business is well-established, with a turnover approaching £3 million, and continues to grow steadily. They offer a rare combination of long-term stability, autonomy, and genuine work-life balance — ideal for someone seeking a hands-on role within a friendly, down-to-earth team.The Role:Reporting directly to the senior managers, you’ll be responsible for managing all day-to-day financial operations, including:Purchase & sales invoicingVAT & CIS returnsPayroll processingCredit control & reconciliationsManagement reportingWorking with Sage Cloud Accounting softwareData analysis & reportingThis is a role for someone who enjoys taking full ownership — planning their own workload and working closely with the directors to support the business.About You:We’re looking for someone with:At least two years’ experience in a standalone / number one SME finance roleStrong Excel skills — able to perform VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs and use Pivot TablesPreferably ACCA, CIMA or AAT Level 4 qualifiedStrong management accounting and transactional finance skillsEnd-to-end weekly and monthly payroll experienceExperience using Sage (or similar) accounting softwareWhat’s on Offer:£40,000 – £45,000 depending on experienceFlexible working — primarily office-based (North Leicestershire) with the option to work from home one day a weekCore hours 8am – 4pm (with flexibility around this)This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role where they can make a real impact, work independently, and still enjoy flexibility and work-life balance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
