Our client is a growing provider of Children's Residential services and Supported Accomodation.

**The ideal Support Worker, Supported Accomodation (16-18 year olds), Gloucester will possess/be/have;**
- relevant experience working with young people aged 16-18
- Be able to build positive relationships with young people
- Energetic, passionate and enthusiastic approach to helping young people
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Sound understanding and awareness of safeguarding issues
- Be able to stay calm in challenging situations
- Ability adapt to a changing environment and work on own initiative
- Confident in speaking and facilitating a group environment
- A commitment to deliver individual and organisational targets.
- Empathy with the aims and values of the organisation.

**inclusive of additional supplement for completing 2 sleep in shifts per week

**What our client will do for you as a Support Worker, Supported Accomodation (16-18 year olds), Gloucester**:

- Provide a comprehensive induction and training
- Provide training in our client's practice model of care
- Provide you with regular practice supervision
- 24/7 support through our on-call system
- Work with you to develop your learning and development plan to support your aspirations

You will also need:

- A full UK Manual Driving Licence, along with own vehicle and Business Insurance
- Enhanced DBS certificate as part of our safer recruitment process.
- A minimum of a level 3 Children and Young People qualification or be working towards this.

**Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends. Ability to commit to a 2 on 4 off rolling rota**

Applicants must be aged 22 years or above - this is due to Regulations and therefore exempt from schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010
