**Here's the exciting bit a day includes**
**Role Purpose**:
The role of the Head Office people advisor acts as the guardian of colleague experience from beginning to end, ensuring the employer brand is brought to life and people procedures are well maintained. Working within the team to support future people plans and delivery of people operations through effective stakeholder engagement and exceptional service delivery.
**A typical day in this role includes**:
Working within the people team to support its people plans and activities
Providing considered and confident advice and coaching to both managers and employees
Proactively handling ER enquiries to ensure fair outcomes are met within reasonable timeframes including performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance, and absence casework
Building strong relationships with stakeholders to identify trends and provide proactive support, recommendation or intervention where appropriate
Championing flexible working within the business and providing a balanced voice
Analysing and reporting on people data and sharing regular feedback and recommendations with people business partners
Giving great guidance to managers on delivering the best experience during new employee probation, creating an open channel of communication for when they need support
Ensuring our culture is at the forefront of how we treat people when dealing with the more challenging areas of employment
Striving for innovation through process improvement and review of retrospective cases to take in learnings and deliver a better future service
Delivering and reviewing training needs to new managers on how we manage our people at Superdrug and getting them up to speed on policy and process
Supporting and delivering on varying, value adding people projects and events

**What you’ll need**:
***A passion for the world of retail health and beauty
A good understanding of current employment law and a keen interest in staying up to date with what’s going on in the market and how that may impact us
A good level of administration experience and organisational skills
Good digital literacy and an interest in learning new systems to drive efficien**cy**
