**Remote/Hybrid working available**
**Location: Edinburgh**
**Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5hrs (flexible on start and finish times)**
**Contract Length: 12 months**
**Rate: £76.07pd PAYE**
**The role of the payroll administrator will include**:
Administering Pensioner Payroll changes on instruction from CAA Pensions Administration dept and data received from external sources.
- Keeping up to date with current payroll Legislation.
- Responding to enquiries from staff and Retirees for information on all pay related matters Liaising with HR if necessary.
Liaising with third party companies, providing monthly breakdowns of payments and deductions.
- Co-ordinate end of month tasks providing information to customers following relevant payroll checks.
- File and archive hard copy data processed each month.
- Prepare month end journals for input to general ledger.
- Supply information and amendments to the Intranet Administrator in order that all staff have up to date access to any functional changes affecting pay and processes.
***The successful payroll administrator will require**:
- A recognised Payroll Qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience of working in a computerised payroll environment.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- A willingness to participate in the development and implementation of organisational and business changes.
