You will be joining a privately-owned, established Microsoft Gold Partner based in the West Midlands that has an excellent global reputation for technical excellence and long term customer service. Our Academy Programme is now in its 8th year and we areproud to complement our years of knowledge with fresh thinking future industry experts. This role is for a trainee software developer who will develop based on Microsoft technology and the Dynamics 365 product stack, new functional, integration and reportingchanges to requested by our clients.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software product from Microsoft which the company uses to enable business administration functions for medium sized businesses across the Manufacturing and Distribution sectors.Client requirements often necessitate that its used together with other Microsoft services such as Dynamics 365 Customer Sales & Service, Power Apps, Power Portal, Power Automate and Power BI to provide the systems clients need to efficiently run their business.
As such a Dynamics Developer will need to understand many aspects of business process from finance to stock control, production and distribution, sales and service and the role will be particularly suited to someone interested in these business processesand improving efficiency and productivity.
Training will be a combination of classroom training, Microsoft self-study learning material and on the job experience.
**Graduate Salary £24,000**
**Principle duties and responsibilities**:
- Designing, coding, testing and documenting, new and revising existing software components to new and existing clients.
- Writing reports for customers using RDLC in Visual Studio / SQL Report Builder
- To provide assistance to the development and support teams.
**Person Specification**
- A degree ideally Computer Science / Computing for Business / IT or Business degree with programming experience or relevant work experience.
**Essential skills**
- Software development (any language)
- Analytical
- Attention to detail
- SQL Reporting skills and Microsoft.net skills would be desirable.
Working hours/Holidays
8.45am until 5.15pm with a 1 hour lunchbreak
20 days holiday per calendar year plus 8 bank holidays.
