**Location**: LS20 Guiseley Leeds

**Salary: When fully competent.**

Weekdays: Day shift £16.50 per hour Awake night shift £17.50 per hour

Weekends: Day shift £17.50 per hour Awake night shift £18.50 per hour

Sleeping night £9.25 per hour

Training rate £13.00 per hour

**Shifts**: Live in/live out long day, waking and sleeping nights.

Cover is 24/7 including Xmas and bank holidays.

**We ask that all applicants are currently living in the UK and have the right to work.**

We are looking for reliable, dedicated, bright, sociable and energetic individuals who have a positive outlook to work within our team. You will be required to provide 2:1 care and support for our client in her family home. You will be working with a 35-year-old woman who sustained a **spinal injury **and has **complex care needs**.

Within your role you will support our client on holidays and social events.

Experience in care would be an advantage, but this is not essential as training will be provided to applicants with an aptitude for care.

**Special requirements**:

- Non-Smoker/Vaping
- Applicants must have the right to work and live in the UK
- Full, UK driving licence
- Personal care skills including hair and make up
- Good sense of humour
- Covid vaccines must be up to date
- Regular Covid testing and wearing PPE will be required as requested by the client

**Covid vaccination is essential**

**DUTIES**:

- As directed by the Clients care plan provide practical assistance and guidance to support the client in day-to-day living
- Responsible for undertaking support as directed by the client, including creative tasks, appointments and social activities
- Support the client in specific areas of physical rehabilitation
- Provide clear verbal & written communication across all parties and produce daily records as required
- Operate in line with Premium Care Solutions organisational procedures
- Provide a practical high-level service to the client in line with CQC standards of care
- Undertake household duties and prepare meals

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
**Qualifications**: Care qualifications NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent is an advantage, though not essential if you have an enthusiasm to learn care skills.

**Skills**
- Good hearing & listening skills and clear speech
- Good verbal and written skills
- Good attention to detail

**Ability to**:

- Use own initiative and work within a team
- Form professional working relationships with staff and client’s family
- Be efficient when organising workload of self and others
- Keep records in line with company policies
- Be flexible to work waking nights as part of a team
