Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in fast-paced team supporting the development of Navy Command's Fraud prevention and detection plan?

The Corporate Governance Policy Desk Officer role is an important role within the wider Finance Specialist Services Team.

This is a customer focused role where building and maintaining good working relationships and collaboration with personnel at all levels both internally and externally is important.

This lively role requires attention to detail and good digital literacy using various IT solutions including but not limited to Office 365 and Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:
The Corporate Governance Policy Desk Officer’s main responsibilities are:

- Supporting the development of Navy Command's Fraud prevention and detection plan; developing fraud awareness campaigns etc.

**Person specification**:
As part of the Finance Specialist Services Team you will support the wider finance function staff providing opportunities for development and encouraging ideas for improving team performance.

The Corporate Governance Policy Desk Officer’s work with the other teams within the Finance Specialist Services Team and the wider finance community will ensure that accurate management information, analysis and insight is available to enable the Business to make informed decisions.

**Applicants will need to give evidence to demonstrate their experience of**:
Good interpersonal skills and be ability to quickly form collaborative teams with MOD colleagues to produce timely, accurate and effective management information to support decisions.

Able to work with and exploit different IT systems.

**Desirable but not essential skills**:
Working towards Level 4 Qualification - AAT or Certificate level CCAB/CIMA and some financial experience.
