Materials Controller

Due to growth we are looking to recruit a Martials / Stores Controller to be based within our Poole Test House to ensure the effective mobilisation of equipment and materials on site. A driving Licence is essential for this position.

**Key Tasks**:
To carry out stock control by maintaining a register of the location and condition of all Company owned or hired in equipment and associated consumables, in accordance with Applus UK Ltd’s procedures, quality accreditation and client requirements
- Local stock control, maintaining consumable stock and PPE levels
- To carry out control checks in accordance with company requirements
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are being maintained within the store and workshop areas.

**Qualifications and Experiences**

**Essential**:

- Clean full UK driving licence
- Experience in a similar stores position / warehouse environment
- A flexible approach to problem solving demonstrating initiative.
- Commitment and drive with a pro-active work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an effective communicator
- Strong organisational skills and structured approach to fulfilling tasks
- Excellent communication
- Ability to perform to high Safety and Quality standards.
- Knowledge in MS packages e.g., Word Excel and Outlook
- Understanding of the purchasing, recording and distribution of equipment.

**Desirable**:

- A technical background with the Inspection Services
- PPE/ Inspection experience.
- Fork lift licence
