We understand the importance of a fully functioning IT network and they work tirelessly to deliver a first-class service and promotethe effectiveness of IT within the educational environment. **What can you expect in return?** - Starting salary will be in the range of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on previous experience - 20 days per annum plus bank holidays **Are you the right person for the job?** - If you have/are the following, then the answer is yes - A good knowledge of technology in general including IT equipment and computer hardware/software - Experience in supporting Mac, iPads, and Android devices - Experience in supporting Windows Servers (Physical and Virtual) - Working knowledge of setting up and administering Microsoft Active Directory - Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace - Experience of troubleshooting network issues with knowledge of switches, topology, and patching - Hypervisors - Linux knowledge - A full UK driving licence - A genuine enthusiasm for computers - Ability to work to an extremely high standard in order to maintain a first-rate service - Applicants need to be smart, confident, well-presented, and highly personable - Experience in supporting a Windows Desktop environment - A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required and carried out by the company prior to employment **What will your role as an IT Helpdesk - 1st and 2nd Line look like?** - Logging and resolving remote support tickets in a timely and professional manor - Maintaining first rate customer service - Taking ownership of customer issues and requests - Occasional onsite installation work, you would be working with other engineers for this **What’s next?
