Warehouse and Distribution Manager

**Location**: Tewkesbury

**Salary**: c£50,000

**Summary**:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a successful and expanding manufacturing and distribution company within the B2B home improvement sector who are undergoing expansion and transformational change. The role would suit an ambitious and strategicindividual who has proven success in operational excellence and customer service in a warehouse and distribution environment. You will be working closely with the Operations and Supply Chain Directors for continuous improvement in processes and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Shaping the future of the warehouse and distribution plans in line with the company strategy
- Driving performance through inspirational leadership and able to coach and mentor a team
- Working closely with external suppliers, 3PL and couriers to ensure excellent customer service
- Project management - delivering change initiatives
- Ensuring warehouse processes are in place and managing the receipt, storage and despatch of stock
- Ensuring best practice is adhered to regarding H&S (IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred)

Key Skills/Experience:

- Proven ability to lead a busy operational team
- Passion for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Confident in leading the introduction of WMS/ERP
- Strong financial acumen and able to manage P&L costs
- Able to develop strategy and manage change programs

Experienced with the development of 3PL partnerships
