Our client a national corporate financial firm are looking to appoint a Facilities Assistant to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role is currently a 12 months contract but will turn permanent for the right applicant.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a professional office based technical & Facilities person to join a dynamic and innovative team.

With the leadership of the line manager and Building Services Facilities Manager, you will provide support and consultation in order to identify requirements and configuration is applicable to all relevant statutory, local, and/or internal codes, regulations,requirements, and methodologies. Practice's safety first and ensures all proper safe guards are utilized and tools are used in the appropriate manner.

The position demands a hands-on approach to deal with the broad spectrum of issues in a modern call centre environment and at times they will have to deal with the pressure of delivering solutions and providing clear communication to senior staff.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Acts as the primary point of onsite contact, monitors and inspects the installation, maintenance, or repair work of internal/external personnel, contractors, or vendors and ensures safety regulations are followed.
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the onsite 3rd party M&E contractor to deliver the company and industry standards in accordance with legislation and company policy.
- Reporting any building service issues to the Facilities Manager and Building Services Facilities Manager with accurate information and solutions.
- Support the Facilities Manager and Building Services Facilities Manager with input on the building services budget management.
- Conducts Emerge Orientation with Site Tour to new hires covering Facilities House Rules, Physical Security and Safety.
- Lead role with all H&S programs and compliance
- Deliver excellent customer service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction, H&S, welfare and corporate security functions.
- Handle internal and external customer complaints. Escalates issues as necessary
- Provide backup for office based BAU operations to always maintain a consistent and professional service provision.
- Support the Facilities Manager with contractor and supplier management. Manage out-sourced service providers to ensure the service level agreements are administered accordingly.
- Provide flexible support to cover operational activities when requested.
- Actively seeking opportunities to improve Facilities service delivery, make cost and environmental efficiencies and stay up to date with the latest Facilities and Mechanical industry news.
- Any other tasks commensurate with the job or as detailed by the line manager.
- Be available to support out of hours onsite business functions and emergency calls (on a 24x7 basis), incidents/ emergency handling and report back to the Facilities manager.

For this the client is looking to offer a Salary up to £25,000 per annum plus a generous benefits package and personal development plan.
