Apprentice Purchasing Assistant

Red Systems provides window, door, and façade packages on a variety of commercial projects across the UK. Our scope includes the design, supply, and fitting of these systems in our capacity as a sub-contractor.
Working out of our head office in Neston, you will be part of the company’s Production and Procurement team. Your focus will be on assisting the team in purchasing and delivering goods and services on time and within budget.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Placing of purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers and sites to track order progress through to completion via Red’s delivery forecasting software
- Being a point of contact for our site teams, responding to material requests / general queries, resolving where possible or passing onto the relevant colleague
- Answering the office phone and diverting calls to the relevant colleague / taking messages
- Assisting with invoice queries, order acknowledgements, site setup documents and other crucial administrative tasks
Assiting with the preparation of production and delivery documents.

**Weekly hours**:40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship
**Salary**: £192.40 per week
