**About Our Client**:
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturing and production company in Peterborough that prides itself on delivering excellence in every aspect of its operations. They are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team on a 3 month FTC.
- Process purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organised and complete records of all purchase transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and prepayments.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve any issues related to purchase orders.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and build positive relationships with suppliers.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Previous experience as purchase ledger assistant or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
