KMT Specialises in manufacturing, maintaining and renewing specialised machines used for the manufacture of automotive components, with a specialist focus on emission control (Exhaust, CAT & DPF) product manufacture.

Our machines are used by leading brand manufacturers building parts for the OE market and the automotive aftermarket across the globe. Our manufacturing and service centre is based in a purpose built facility the Midlands from which we manufacture, service and rebuild and support hundreds of individual machines.

KMT can service, support and re-manufacture most machines from any original manufacturer, including one-off custom designs. We also develop tooling and workholding solutions such as bespoke automated, or semi-automated mandrels, jig and fixturing systems.

We have a range of standard function machines to choose from, but can also design, manufacture and test fully bespoke designs for individual custom operations.

**37 Hours Paid** - Total Hours Working 39.5 Hours

Pay: £15 p/h

Key responsibilities will include:

- You are able to set up welding machines based on the job at hand
- Read and explain drawings to determine the specific welding requirements to each job
- Able to MIG and TIG Weld Steel, Aluminium and Stainless steel materials based on the specification of the drawing
- Ensure all work is done safely and meets quality standards
- Follow, create and help maintain welding Procedure Specifications
- Keep your work area clean and organised and take care of all equipment issued
- Follow all company rules and polices
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Able to lift raw material /final products
- Able and keen to learn machinery within the work area

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour
