Pay: £36,000.00-£50,000.00 per year including overtime with flexible hourly rate to suit your experience.Job Description:Due to the company’s expanding activities, we now have opportunities for experienced and skilled Fabricator/Welders to join the team on a permanent and fulltime basis.Job OverviewWorking as part of a team, you will ensure that high quality fabricated and welded parts are produced in accordance with national and international standards/specifications, ensuring that welded joints meet the acceptance criteria of the relevant standard.Fabricator-Welder Duties and ResponsibilitiesFabricate and manufacture large stainless-steel components.Responsible for the dimensional accuracy of pre-inspection parts.Follow technical drawings and method statements to ensure exact output to specification.Follow welding procedure specifications (WPS’s) in order to produce welds of high quality with TIG and/or MIG/MAG welding processes.Ensure the maintenance and operation of all tools, fixtures, machinery and welding equipment on a daily basis.Ensure material storage is sufficiently managed to ensure no cross contamination and traceable throughout the fabrication process.Follow technical procedures for the safe use and storage of welding consumables.
