**VAT Manager**

AJ Chambers are recruiting for a VAT Manager to join a Top 10 firm in their London Office. This role comes with the opportunity to progress to a Senior Manager level.

You will be joining one of the UK’s leading firms, as a VAT expert.

**VAT Manager responsibilities**:

- Looking after a mixed portfolio of clients
- Providing advisory work to clients
- Managing the preparation of VAT registrations and complex VAT returns
- Involvement in dispute resolutions, transactions and liability matters
- Carrying out research
- Providing timely and accurate delivery of VAT services whilst adhering to the firm’s quality standard
- Delegating work to junior members of staff
- Assisting in the training and development of junior members of staff

**VAT Manager requirements**:

- Experience in a VAT role in practice
- A good understanding of the principals of VAT
- Personable with the ability to explain complex matters in a simple way
- Experience in managing clients
- The ability to get involved in winning new work
