Guest Services Switchboard Agent

We have a fabulous opportunity to join the Guest Services Switchboard at St Martins Lane London & Sanderson London as a **Guest Services Switchboard Agent**. As a **Guest Services Switchboard Agent** you will serve as the main point of contact for all guest requests and needs, and ensuring an appropriate resolution.

**Key duties**:

- Receiving all internal and external telephone calls.
- Gaining knowledge of both hotels, hotel staff, and hotel services, including hours of operation for all departments involved in and in the surrounding areas to be able to answer guest enquires
- Taking and Booking any reservations for hotel facilities such as the restaurant or afternoon tea
- Correctly taking and placing room service orders, ensuring that the order is repeated back to the guest as per company procedures.
- Constantly communicating and maintaining mutual understanding with all other departments in both hotels.
- Creating and maintaining a personal and respectful rapport with regular guests.

**A bit about you**:

- Previous telephone/switchboard experience preferred but not essential.
- Possess a friendly, professional, engaging telephone manner.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Display a consistently positive attitude, self-motivated and enthusiastic work manner
