We have a full time vacancy available working a permanent Monday to Friday rota. The vacancy is situated at one of our sites based in Sheffield working for a large local education client. **The shifts will be working Monday 0800-2115, Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 0800-1815 and Friday 0800-1715.**

**Please note this is a security role which will include caretaker duties such as completing daily building checks and being involved in additional duties such as cleaning, moving furniture and general maintenance of site such as emptying bin, litter picking etc.**

**Some of the duties could include**:
Monitoring access onto the site and provide a presence during break times

Assisting with cleaning duties such as emptying bins, sweeping and litter picking.

Lock and Unlock of site

Undertake minor repairs and maintenance

Hourly car park checks and issuing notices when required

Conduct weekly and monthly checks such as water flushing, disabled toilet alarm, fire alarms, meter readings.

Assist with setting up rooms for functions which includes moving table and chairs

Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported to the control room

Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

**Security officer requirements**:
Experience working in the security industry is preferred but not essential

Valid Frontline SIA Licence, either Security Guarding or Door Supervisor

Experience or willing to carry out general maintenance and repairs

Good communication skills verbally and written

Smart and Presentable

5 year checkable work history in line with BS 7858

Willing to have an Enhanced DBS check completing and attend a 3 day First Aid at Work course

Excellent time management skills

Ability to think on their feet and excellent decision making skills
