We are looking for a part time employee to work in the packing and day to day operations of our motorcycle parts retail business. We predominantly deal with motorcycle suspension components but we also sell other premium motorcycle parts.

Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire (BD6) and established nearly 20 years ago, we have recently expanded to larger premises and our expansion has meant that we are dealing with a larger volume of parcels, both coming in to us and going out to our customers.
- Unpacking stock that we receive from suppliers and checking items received against our actual orders
- Booking products into stock or despatching them directly to our customers, using our couriers (Royal Mail, Fedex and Parcelforce)
- The ordering of parts from our suppliers when necessary
- Stock management
- Logging the whereabouts of outstanding parts against customer orders.
- Booking jobs into the workshop
- Managing supplies (cardboard boxes and other packing materials)
- We deal with various other trade companies for the refinishing of parts so you will need to deal with them too, ensuring parts are handled/packed accordingly and records of what has gone where and when are well kept.

We have a variety of boxes and packaging materials that we use and most of the boxes that we send are small and light, so less than **5kg in weight**

We use our Magento 2 website backend as our main order/stock management system so if you've used this type of thing before then it's a bonus, however we have made a substantial investment in integrating our system with the couriers so that all data input is at a minimum and human error is reduced so it is a click and drag exercise for worldwide shipments.

We would expect you to be computer literate, with good typing skills and a strong working knowledge of the usual software suites (Windows, Office etc). You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be able to operate quickly, efficiently and effectively and keep any mistakes to a bare minimum. It's a fast paced business - we have a great reputation to uphold and we are fastidious in how we operate.

Although we are in the motorcycle industry, **specific knowledge on motorcycles is not strictly necessary**. However, if you're interested in them then that is a bonus

As a small business, we don't have a corporate environment - although we take our work very seriously, a sense of humour is mandatory. We promote a good working atmosphere.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.42-£12.79 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
