A key role for the Assistant Director of Medicines Optimisation, will be to support the NHS LPP Chief Pharmacist/Clinical Director for Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement to help drive some key initiatives around medicines optimisation services offered by the NHS LPP to the NHS. The role will also be about supporting the Chief Pharmacist/Clinical Director for Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement to set up clinical systems for data driven care and financial reporting that are fit for the future NHS.
NHS LPP is a membership organisation hosted by, but independent of, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, founded, governed and funded by NHS organisations. Now, more than ever before, it is vital that every NHS penny is spent wisely to maintain, redesign and improve health care. Working with our members, we support the NHS to make the most of its purchasing power, maximise investment in patient care and optimise use of medicines to gain best value for money spent on them by the NHS in London.
A key role for the Assistant Director of Medicines Optimisation will be to support the NHS LPP Chief Pharmacist to help drive some key initiatives around medicines optimisation and the clinical services offered by the NHS LPP to the NHS.
The role will also be about supporting the Chief Pharmacist to set up financial and other data reports that are fit for the future NHS.
