**PURCHASING ADMINISTRATOR: SALARY £23-25,000 (depending on experience)**

**FULL-TIME (9am-5pm OR 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri)**

**Location**:Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire (free on site parking).

Transairvac International Limited is a small local company supplying a range of equipment throughout the UK & Europe for the transport and industrial markets. We are also distributors for European manufacturers and have a range of our own products.

Employees receive 20 days holiday, plus all days designated as Public Holidays and one week for the Christmas shut-down period.

Working as part of a small team you will report to the Management Team.

GENERAL DUTIES
- Responsible for efficient purchasing of stock, supplies and equipment.
- Using the existing SAGE 50 system, prepare and issue purchase orders, determine and negotiate prices and delivery when necessary; buy according to established company policies and procedures; maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Receive purchase requisitions and verify for accuracy and authorisation.
- Periodically evaluate suppliers based on capabilities, performance and consistent quality. Advise Quality Representative when suppliers are not meeting requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend new / substitute suppliers, if necessary.
- Maintain rapport and good working relationships with suppliers and keep accurate supplier records.
- Evaluate stock reorder levels and quantity price breaks to determine the most economical purchasing of stocks and supplies in relation to the company’s cost of capital.
- Expedite purchase orders as necessary and ensure timely delivery of purchased items for onward delivery to Transairvac customers (via daily meeting).
- Perform other purchasing or stock control duties as necessary, or as requested.
- Responsible for stock control.
- Other duties as required, commensurate with the role.
- To uphold and maintain the objectives of ISO9001:2015.

SKILLS
- Engineering / industry related background preferable
- Excellent telephone manner
- IT Literate
- Good organisational skills; methodical approach to working
- Ability to problem solve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
