**About the role**: You will be responsible for plan, design and conduct user research sessions, including guerrilla testing, user testing, focus groups and workshops, persona creation and card sorting on a regular basis, testing both high-level concepts, and aspects of the service as it is designed and developed, and developing and maintaining a picture of the users
- Previous public sector experience
- Able to use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes.
- Identifies and engages with users/stakeholders to collate user needs evidence and understands and defines research which fits user needs.
- Delivers analysis and information that addresses stakeholder needs and provides recommendations.
- Collaborates with user researchers and other user-focused professions.
- Understands the social and technological context for government services.
- Can align user research activities to help their team understand changing user behaviour.
