**Assistant Category Support Officer - Guildford - Permanent - £25,000 - £28,000** This role is ideal for someone already established in a procurement/buying function within a commercial role to venture into an organisation which would empower them to grow further in other exciting areas of the healthcare sector. We are recruiting for an Assistant Category Support Officer to join them on a permanent basis in Guildford, Surrey. **Responsibilities** - Support the category team in the development and delivery - Transformation and CIP programmes. Helping to identify, review and implement new policies and processes where required. - Help support the delivery of the local Integrated Care System (ICS) Procurement Strategy and help establish the annual pipeline of procurement projects, enable the development of networks and support across the different teams. - Help build and maintain the procurement workplan in order to support delivery of CIP targets, and management of addressable non-pay spend. Identifying strategic, tactical and transactional procurement plans. - Lead and manage small to medium value contracts and supply accounts. - Help support the buying function and in the delivery of an efficient end to end procurement service. - Help support Procurement on all sourcing activity, through all procurement routes to market, contract and supplier management, and daily functional management of non-pay spend. - Innovation - helping to deliver important national agendas such as sustainability, social value within the procurement process and team. **Requirements**: - Excellent stakeholder service experience - Highly motivated with the ability to influence others - Results and output orientated - Strong Leader, team player with excellent engagement skills - Assertive, self-confident & self-motivated with intellect to deal stakeholders at all levels - Some procurement experience - Passion for 'Patient Care' and service delivery For more information contact Dan on or 02392 228211 This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
