**Salary**: £23,929 per annum plus unsociable hours supplement

We’re a fast paced business, always delivering amazing quality and results for our customers, and this warehouse location is no exception.In this role, you’ll be working with the team to provide fork truck training for our warehouse operatives on the JaguarLand Rover contract.
You will co-ordinate and control the inbound and outbound movement of Aftermarket Parts globally to specific markets across all transport modes, achieving this through executing the processes and procedures required in an accurate and timely manner to minimiseany delay to the customer.
**Transport Planner Responsibilities include**:

- Be responsible for the shipping and transportation activities within specific markets globally, covering road, sea and air inbound and/or outbound to Mercia Park
- Ensure the timely and unhindered movement of goods and resolution of exceptions, damage, late or miss-delivery and resolution/ recovery of such situations in conjunction with the carrier, warehouse operation and transport teams
- Manage the process from order shipment from a customer or supplier, through to carrier booking, generation of shipping documentation and compliance in accordance with local and customer requirements/regulations

**Transport Planner Requirements**:

- Planning and organisational awareness
- Excellent communication skills with a good attention to detail
- Strong team player that can also work to their own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure in a challenging and ever-changing environment
- An understanding of Transport and/or Distribution, along with an understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
