**Mental Health Support Worker**

**£10.00 - £11.00 per hour**

Support Health Care is seeking compassionate Mental Health Support workers for short and long-term placements and ad-hoc shifts in a care setting that supports people with autism, mental health, learning disabilities, Asperger's syndrome and challenging behaviour. We offer:

- Flexible working hours, including ad-hoc bookings or block bookings in advance
- Regular ongoing work
- Hourly Rate**:£10.00 - £11.00** - with additional increments for weekends and public holidays.
- Weekly payroll and a selection of faster payment options
- Shifts Available:

- Days 07:30-20:00
- Nights 19:30-08:00

Key Tasks
- Support Planning
- Implementation of Support Plans
- Support Plan Review
- Administration and Miscellaneous

Expected duties of the role:

- Provide personal and practical support services for people with a wide range of needs from Learning disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, etc.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team by assisting in implementing agreed care plans under the supervision of the trained nurse.
- Developing therapeutic relationships with patients, remaining conscious of the limits and boundaries of a professional relationship.
- Treating patients with dignity and respect and ensuring patients’ rights to confidentiality are respected.

- Excellent communication skills
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
- an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
- Immunisations against Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and BCG.
- At least 6 months of experience
- Training Provided
