You MUST have the following:

- Good experience as a DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineering Manager
- Excellent knowledge of AWS or GCP
- Good scripting ability in Go, Java, Python or similar
- Team lead or management experience
- Strong familiarity with containerisation and infrastructure automation
- for example Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, Rancher etc
- Agile

Role: Cloud DevOps Manager (Platform Engineering Architecture Cloud DevOps Amazon Web Services AWS GCP Azure Go Java Python Kubernetes OpenShift Docker Terraform Rancher golang Agile Finance Trading Front Office Investment Banking Asset Manager FinancialServices) required by my trading software client in London. You will work in a department that is dedicated to the infrastructure and platforms that allow for the research, data and analytics, post-trade and trading services to run. You will be a senior managerthat will inherit a small global team that will newly assess the company's AWS and cloud situation and then define and implement a new strategy over the next 2 years. The department has new management and is looking for a selection of new hires that will raisethe standard of engineering in this area and promote a culture of excellence.

Your background will involve the management of teams to deliver cloud strategies, including GCP or AWS. You will still be hands-on and will be proficient in complex architectural design and coding. An ability to work with development teams to a low-levelis essential. Ideally you will be able to code in Python or Java. A software engineering background isn't essential but would be advantageous. Finance isn't essential but would also be advantageous.

The department has a relaxed strategy towards working from the office; you only need to go in as and when required.

**Salary**: £120k - £160k + 20% Bonus + Share Options + Pension
