Overview Join to apply for the AWS Cloud Engineer DevOps role at CybeRim. Salary up to £65k with get togethers once a month in London. Responsibilities Assist in scaling an enterprise solution and implement improvements to infrastructure to support delivery. Exposure to the following is required. Work on database migration projects. Utilize Kubernetes and be able to hand code Terraform. Migrate databases to AWS environment. Migrate MySQL to Aurora projects. Leverage AWS solutions such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc. Use AWS Migration Tools like DMS, Babelfish, etc. Provide migration approach, plan, and best practices. Build databases with high availability (HA) in AWS. Build DB backups and disaster recovery with data integrity and security. Performance management and tuning of databases to remove bottlenecks and ensure availability; apply scalability techniques such as read replicas and caching. Knowledge of edge computing solutions like AWS Global Accelerator. Collaborate with the DevOps team to build and deploy DB scripts in various environments. Knowledge of basic security techniques and AWS or equivalent Open Source tooling. Qualifications Experience with database migration projects. Kubernetes experience and ability to hand code Terraform. Experience in migrating databases to AWS environment. Experience with migrating MySQL to Aurora; familiarity with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB. Experience with AWS Migration Tools like DMS, Babelfish, etc. Experience in building databases with high availability and disaster recovery in AWS.
