**About the Role
- Office Cleaning Co-ordinator**

Coordinate all cleaning requirements for the offices and staff facilities deputise for environmental supervisor and team leader as required.

Undertake office and staff facilities cleaning as required ensuring all cleaning aspects are covered

***Main Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Operational**
- _Ensure that all offices and designated building are cleaned to the highest standard including but not limited to
- _Ensure a team rota is maintained to ensure daily cleaner is available for all offices and staff facilities _
- _Provide management cover in terms of point of contact for the department in the absence of Environmental Supervisor and TL_
- _Unsure correct levels off stock are available to undertake all cleaning requirements_
- _Replace supplies such as toilet rolls, hand soap and paper towels._
- _Always ensure an excellent standard of customer service._
- _Report any breakages or vandalism to Line Manager._
- _Undertake training of other team members._
- Answer questions and offer help and advice to guests at every opportunity.

**2.** **Marketing**
- To develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of business operation and activities._

**3.** **Financial**
- Demonstrates a continual commitment to safeguard and improve cost efficiencies of the company.
- Use knowledge and skills of operational procedures to minimise financial risk, showing the ability to share ideas for improvement.
- To recycle waste products and re-use thus saving business expenditure.
- Ensure all resources are used efficiently in order to minimise costs.
- Take responsibility to actively safeguard all items of company property.
- Completion of incident reports to minimise costs to the business.

**4.** **Development**
- Team development moving with the times and adapting new methods that are more efficient.
- Training courses to build skill level of team and develop individuals’ skills.

**5.** **People**
- Actively demonstrates commitment to the Merlin Group vision and values.
- Exercise discretion within the office environment
- Acts as a role model within the business in terms of dress and appearance and customer service.
- Demonstrates a commitment to promoting effective working relationships within the team, other departments and with external customers.
- Communicates to other team members, guests and other areas of the business including the experience team with positive energy.
- Pro-actively supports other areas of the Technical Services department.
- Share knowledge, experience and skills with others.
- Shows excellent communication skills whilst ebbing an exemplary team player.
- Attends team briefings actively contributing to any discussions.
