Customer Services Administrator

**Our client in the centre of Newbury is in search of an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their team.**
**Schedule**
- Full Time
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
**Pay**
- £30,426.16 per annum
**Duties**
- Accurate and timely entry of orders onto the order management system, with attention to lead times, shipping dates and quantities.
- Liaise with customers to confirm orders and keep them informed of progress as appropriate. Provide a link with other departments where necessary regarding proof of delivery and quality concerns expressed by the customer.
- Liaise closely with Planning to ensure customer orders are prioritised and progressed appropriately
- Proactively inform customers of order / shipment discrepancies.
- Ensure any customer impacting issues are escalated in a timely and effective way.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key customers to constantly improve information flow.
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer profiles.
- Work with other members of the Supply Chain function to identify issues, propose solutions and take part in projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Promote a coordinated approach within the Order Management team and provide cover for other team members in their absence.
- Any other duties that can be allocated by Manager
- Keep up to date with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) In Line with the Skills Matrix
- Educated to GCSE level - 4 grades C or above including English and Maths
- Experience in handling customer relationships
- Good working knowledge and experience of using Order management systems
- Experience of delivering results through cross-functional working
- Computer literacy to a level which allows section full access to computer facility.
- Inter-personal skills including excellent communication skills.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Attention to detail
- European language skills advantageous
- Educated to GCSE level - 4 grades C or above including English and Maths
- Knowledge of a Customer Service environment ideally within Automotive
- Self motivation
- Flexible approach to work
